Is This Program Suitable For You? Here are John's 12 rules for Achieving Success 

Before You Do A Trading Program John Suggests:

1. A Full Time Income. The purpose of this program is to educate you in ways to trade the market, WITHOUT the pressure of having to make money out of trading whilst you are learning.

2. At least $10,000 to have as a trading bank if you intend to start live trading. This will be your actual trading bank. This should be from an investment source or fund you have.  It should not come from savings or be raised through a loan.

3. Bourse Data software.  I want everyone to be using the same charting software I use.  Bourse is the easiest to use and most cost effective and the support is excellent.  (Click here to order Bourse Data)

4. You will need Bourse Options Trader monthly subscription currently at $74 (check the website for details)

5. Read the Science of Getting Rich!  This is a fantastic book, generally available as an eBook on the internet.  

6. Believe that trading and trading options is suitable for you.  ASIC recommends that you take independent advice from an Australian Financial Services License Holder.  Get some feedback on whether options is right for you.

7. A basic understanding of options.  You should read the Understanding Options Trading Booklet produced by the Australian Stock Exchange (click here for a free copy)  In addition I suggest that you have attended a course on Options and have at least covered the basics.

8. An Open Mind!  If you are not happy with the results you have right now (from anything you are doing) then you need to change what you are doing.  For this you need an open mind.

9. Spare Time.  You will need to allow for two hours per day for five days per week for approximately three months.  This time will be devoted to further understanding and developing the strategy and most importantly back testing stocks to build your confidence and prepare you for live trading.  I guarantee that you if you are serious about this you will start investing more than two hours a day of your time into this!

10. Historical data.  You will need to access historical options data on a number of stocks for back testing.  (We talk about this at the seminar, so you don’t need it before you attend)

11. A computer and fast speed internet access.  You can’t trade effectively without this!

12. A good brokerage service (we can recommend brokers who have completed my strategy and can hand-hold you through your early trades)
